Zielenrust is a beautiful, rustic cabin on the foothills of the Hawequa mountain just outside Wellington, 75 km from Cape Town. Surrounded by mountains, fynbos and a stunning view of the town.  Relax in the wood-fired splash pool, enjoy our hiking trail up the mountain and the 10-minute steep walk to the lookout point, or lay in the hammock and enjoy the sound of nature.  

The cabin has a main room with a queen-size bed and a bath with a view, the second room has 2 single beds and there is a sleeper couch in the living area. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge and freezer, 2 plate gas stove, kettle, plunger, cookware, crockery and cutlery.  There is also an indoor and outdoor braai area.  Separate from the cabin is a bathroom with a shower which opens up in the front to enjoy the beautiful scenery.  We provide linen, bath- and swim towels.

PLEASE NOTE:  

• Our weekend bookings will only be approved as last-minute bookings depending on availability. 
• All bookings must be a minimum of 4 people and 2 nights.
• Optional:  At an additional fee we will also include enough wood for a braai and to warm the wood-fired pool, firelighters, a bottle of wine etc.
• You need a high-clearance vehicle to reach the cabin.
