Whale of a Time is a self-catering unit situated in Perlemoenbaai, Gansbaai and can accommodate up to 2 people. The open-plan unit is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. 

For convenience, bedding and towels are provided but guests please need to bring their own swimming towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, and a fridge. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. The living area opens onto a large, private deck that offers lovely views of the ocean where guests can braai and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the whales playing. 

Please note that the unit is accessed via stairs, and may not be suitable for the elderly or guests with disabilities. The unit is not serviced. There is secure, free parking with an excellent alarm system. No TV, but WiFi makes everything possible. 

Gansbaai offers guests a variety of restaurants, as well as various activities and attractions such as whale watching, shark cage diving, the Danger Point Lighthouse and the Duiwelsgat or Fynbos Hiking Trails. The lovely old town Stanford is a short drive away and Hermanus for a day trip is also quite near.
