Weltevrede Lodge offers a self-catering experience situated in a wildlife conservancy, where you can enjoy peace and tranquillity amidst nature and free-roaming wildlife. Choose from our two large thatched-roof houses, each featuring a private splash pool and an enclosed braai area. We are baby-friendly, providing camping cots and baby baths for your convenience. Both houses share a garden with a small play area for toddlers, making it an ideal retreat for families.   

The Four Seasons (sleeps 8-10) is a cozy cottage with 4 rooms, each featuring its own bathroom with a shower. Each floor has 2 rooms: one room with a double bed and one room with two single beds. Additionally, there is one large air conditioner. Upstairs, there are two single-bed sleeper couches on the landing.

The Big Five (sleeps 10) is a family-oriented, wheelchair-friendly cottage. It has 3 rooms with air conditioners: two family rooms, each with a double bed and two single beds, and a downstairs room with a queen-sized bed. There is a toilet upstairs and 2 bathrooms on the ground floor—one with a shower and one with a large bath.

Both houses are equipped with fans, prepaid air-conditioning, a television with a prepaid full DSTV package, and free Wi-Fi. The kitchens include a deep freeze, a fridge, a gas stove, and all necessary appliances and accessories. Linen and bath towels are supplied, but please bring your own pool towels. 

Laundry facilities and daily housekeeping are available on request for an additional fee. Wood, charcoal, briquets, firelighters, and ice are available for purchase on the property.                                                              

Marloth Park borders the southern part of the legendary Kruger National Park, along the banks of the Crocodile River. We are conveniently close to the Swaziland and Mozambique borders, both offering some of the most scenic sightseeing destinations in the area.
