Stay at Baviaanskloof Uitspan and really "Span Uit" amid the spectacular scenery and peace and quiet of the Baviaanskloof, the scenic wonderland of the Eastern Cape. Uitspan provides Self-catering and Luxury Camping accommodation facilities. Accommodation is offered in three fully-equipped Self Catering Chalets and a double room with an en-suite bathroom. There are also a number of grassed and/or shaded campsites, some with private ablutions and lapas.

Baviaanskloof Uitspan is located at the western end of the Baviaanskloof, some 45 kilometres from Willowmore, and 10 kilometres from the Nuwekloof Pass. From Patensie it is 160 kilometres through the Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area, so please allow for about 5 to 6 hours of travelling time. Access from Patensie is only for 4x4 or vehicles with high ground clearance. From Uniondale - Willowmore side Baviaanskloof Uitspan is accessible to all types of vehicles as well as off-road caravans.

• Chalet 1 can accommodate 2 adults and a child on a sleeper couch.
• Chalet 2 is a double-story, wooden house and can hold 6 guests.
• Chalet 3 is ideal for a family and can accommodate up to 12 guests at a time. These chalets all boast a beautiful view of the mountains.
• The double room is ideal for a couple and is situated behind the Lapa.
• The beautiful Houtkloof Trail takes about an hour and a half to walk, with rock pools, and magnificent examples of indigenous trees and plant life. 
• The Koepel Hiking Trail offers the opportunity to investigate interesting rock formations and overhangs and offers beautiful views.
