MonTQ Guest House is housed in a historical thatched monument in the heart of the beautiful village of Montagu, on the famous Route 62.

The guest house offers accommodation in 3 en-suite rooms, each equipped with air-conditioning, a TV with selected DStv channels, heating, free Wi-Fi, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a hairdryer. The rooms are all situated around a charming courtyard. Each room has a private entrance off the courtyard. Our rooms are well-equipped and perfect for an overnight stay, a weekend getaway to explore our picture-perfect town, or a business stay.

Guests have access to a private and secluded garden with a swimming pool. This is the ideal spot to relax after a long day or just admire the view of the surrounding mountains.

Montagu is a historic town that lies in a beautiful wine and fruit valley, surrounded by picturesque mountains. The town has natural hot mineral springs where one can experience the healing properties of the springs. The springs are open daily until late. Montagu offers activities such as 4X4 tractor rides, mountain-climbing, rock-climbing, quad-biking, leisure hikes, and spa treatments. The area offers wineries, and the surrounding towns of Barrydale, McGregor, and Bonnievale are ideal for day trips. Montagu is home to great restaurants and wine bars, and reflects the true Karoo lifestyle: fine wine and food.
