For the adventurous, there is a lot to explore. Go hiking, biking or for a gentle walk in the veld. Bring your bicycles and enjoy the outdoor air without the worry of cars chasing past.

Step back to a time when children were safe to play outdoors and run around without a worry in the world.

While it is extremely cold in winter, you can enjoy the clear skies and the refreshing air. 

DON’T MISS THE SNOWFALL IN WINTER!! It is always an exciting experience for the whole family. In summer, enjoy the outdoors with the smell of flowers as they push out from the ground after some rain.

And in typical Karoo fashion, cool down from the hot sun with a dip in the farm dam. “plaasdam”.

Row the boat on the large” plaasdam” farm dam and experience all the birdlife out there... Fun for the whole family!

Back at the ranch (main house), the children are most welcome to feed the tamed farm animals, bottle-fed the “hanslammers” little sheep and feed the chickens, guinea pigs etc.

• The main house has 3 bedrooms
• 2 Bedrooms have a double bed and a single bed. 
• The one has 2 single beds and a double bed. 
• 3 separate bathrooms, one has a shower, and the other bathroom has a bath and toilet. 
• There is another separate toilet as well. 
• Open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with an inside braai and a kaggel to snuggle in front for Sutherland’s cold winter nights. 
• Dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, stove, toaster, kettle, fully equipped for self-catering.
• We are situated 50 km west of Sutherland, on the Bo-visriver Road, (same as the renowned Ouberg Pass) outside of Sutherland on the farm Koornlandskloof, Sutherland. (Listed on Google Maps)

PS: The swimming pool mentioned in the amenities is the plaasdam. A quenching experience for everyone.
