Eerstebosch cottages are situated on Eerstebosch farm, a small family-owned, 9 hectares, lifestyle property with 3 hectares of vineyard. We are surrounded by lush vineyards and stunning 360-degree scenery. The farm is centered between Stellenbosch and Somerset West and is only a 25-minute drive from the Cape Town International airport. While staying in one of our funky cottages, you will experience the feeling of a working farm, while still enjoying the beauty and peace of nature that surrounds you. Eerstebosch has four renovated farm cottages, set in a spacious garden with a communal swimming pool and boma area. We are child-friendly but request that parents are extra careful around the open swimming pool area to ensure the safety of their children. Riverside, Mountainside, and Vineyard view cottages are one-bedroom cottages, with fully equipped open-plan kitchens. The Cosy cottage is a one-bedroom with an open-plan kitchenette. All four cottages have separate bathrooms with a shower, free WiFi, a smart TVs, and a wood-burning fireplace in the living area. Braai facilities are available. 

Eerstebosch farm can be enjoyed for a relaxed stay or be the home base for an active break. It is ideally situated for walkers, runners, and cyclists to enjoy the neighboring wine farms. Activities include taking leisurely walks through the vineyards and cycling the various routes available. Flanked by mountains and bordered by vineyards and the Eersterivier, Eerstebosch’s setting is picturesque, and its location is remarkably central, making it ideal for visiting and enjoying our famous South African wine estates, restaurants and markets. Luxury and modern design meet to create the perfect setting. To ensure that our guest feel welcome and can start relaxing on arrival, we provide: a Complimentary bottle of wine as well as a starter pack with fresh coffee beans, milk, rusk, sugar and wood for the fireplace. For easy traveling, the cottages are stocked with: Black Pepper, Salt, Olive Oil, Balsamic vinegar, dish washing liquid and dishwasher tablets. Save parking and braai facilities are available. Guests have access to the farm and can walk the to the vineyard and river, meet the horses and pick a spot for a private picnic.
