The Brown Jug, centrally situated in sought-after Eastcliff in Hermanus, a quiet leafy suburb, is a mere two-minute stroll to the shops, restaurants and seafront where you can enjoy the famous land-based whale watching from the cliff tops in all its beauty. Hermanus is the “Whale watching capital of South Africa” and is just a 90-minute drive from Cape Town.  

We offer a choice of 3 self-catering apartments, two of which sleep two and one sleeping up to two couples.  Unfortunately no children under the age of 12.

Hermanus is an extremely popular destination and our popular period is from mid-August to the end of March. We welcome all enquiries and swops will be considered during this time based on availability. We advise you not to enquire too far in advance during our peak season.
