Our self-catering cottage (Fountainbush Cottage) is the perfect getaway spot for families with young children who want to get out of the city and let their kids have a real, hands-on experience of farm life.  The cottage is safe, peaceful, and private. There are 2 bedrooms, both are en-suite.  One is a family bedroom with a queen bed and a double bunk, and the second bedroom has a queen bed. 

The house is very well equipped for families, with a highchair, camp cot etc.  There is a big stoep with push bikes for the little ones and an undercover braai area that is well sheltered so you can braai no matter the weather.

Your stay includes some firewood, all bedding and towels, basic tea/coffee/biscuits, eggs when available and many other little extras. Fountainbush cottage is off-grid and runs on solar power and gas.  There is a gas stove and oven. The geysers are also gas-powered, so there is plenty of hot water.  We also supply a backup generator in case of low power.
