This 4 star self catering exclusive guest house was built using natural stone from the farm and the roof is thatched to blend perfectly with surrounding nature. Koekais is 17 kilometer east of Griekwastad on the road to Douglas. Griekwastad is more or less halfway between Upington and Kimberley on the N8 highway. We are conveniently situated on one of the most popular routes to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.
The guest house is a beautiful, self-catering house with three en-suite double bedrooms and offers accommodation for up to 6 guests. We do not take separate bookings for the same periods to ensure the privacy and relaxation of our guests.
The house was finished with excellent quality fittings and furniture. Although the kitchen is fully equipped with full size stove, oven and fridge with freezer, microwave oven and all the pots, pans and crockery needed in a kitchen, meals or braaipacks with salads are available with prior arrangement.
A water purifier, all season air conditioner, roof fans in each bedroom as well as the sitting room are all added luxuries. The bathrooms are stocked with the best quality shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion for the use of our guests. The 400 liter heat pump geyser ensures that there will never be a shortage of hot water.
All networks are covered though the Vodacom signal is excellent for both voice and data. Limited Wi-Fi is available.
The geyser, air conditioner, fridge and bulbs that we use throughout the guest house are all environmentally friendly and we also participate in recycling of waste. We recently went off the grid and use only solar power.
It is pure pleasure to spend time in the spacious lapa and braai area. A jungle gym keeps the children nearby and occupied. Star gazing is an awesome experience with the clear skies of the Northern Cape. Guests can enjoy long walks on the farm.
