Amangwane Camp is uniquely located in the northeast corner of Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa, with direct access to the pristine beaches and lakes of the Kosi Bay area.
Amangwane accommodation consists of 10 permanent tents with en-suite shower, toilet and hand basin. All the tents are the same, consisting of 2 single beds with a bedside table, mosquito nets, plug-point (no hairdryers or kettles please) and all bedding and bath towels supplied. Families requiring young children to sleep in their tents can request this, however, will need to bring their own bed/stretcher and bedding.
All accommodation is self-catering. A Catered option is now available by arrangement, offering a light breakfast, picnic lunch and home-cooked dinner. Guests are welcome to make use of the communal lapa & kitchen area for cooking and socialising. We usually have a social pit fire burning each evening and we do offer limited fridge and freezer space, as well as a simple daily housekeeping service. Parking is also available within the camp area. Due to our remoteness and facilities, we cannot offer a laundry service.
Please feel free to contact us for any further information. We invite you to kick your shoes off dig your toes into the sand and enjoy a totally relaxed environment with us and our staff.
