The Soul Forest GeoDome is a private nature escape, located on a communal farm in Rural Knysna. The Dome is perched on a deck cocooned by an indigenous forest with exquisite views over the valley. Boasting a thriving bird life it is a bird watcher's dream. At this site is the start of a private hiking trail down to a dried-up riverbed (which flows when it rains intensely). Guests can immerse themselves in the natural splendour that our farm has to offer. The night sky is noteworthy with a clear view of the Milky Way.  

The GeoDome is segmented into 3 areas - in the front is a queen-sized bed looking out the expansive half-circle window with a cozy couch for reading and chilling. Behind that to the right is a small bathroom consisting of a toilet & wash basin (shower outside). To the left is a kitchenette with a small fridge gas hob and all the necessities to make your stay convenient and comfortable. A small dining/writing table is perfect for enjoying a meal or getting some work done. The deck fully wraps around the dome with a seating area on the one side and a net hammock on the other beneath the pines - great for chilling on those hot summer days. This is also where the glorious outdoor shower is located. 

There is also a fire 🔥 pit with a braai grid for your exclusive use but STRICTLY no fires when there is even the slightest breeze (This is a high fire risk area). 

We have our Artisan Coffee Roastery located up at the parking area where you can purchase freshly roasted Arrow Coffee beans (the same you will find included for your stay). Fresh farm eggs are available to purchase.

Conditions in the Dome:

Summer - It is important to note that due to the nature of the structure, it does get very hot in the middle of the day (even with the solar-powered fan and the high-power fan). So we advise getting out to explore the beautiful surroundings or chilling under the trees on the cargo net. 

Winter - The clear window will form condensation drops when the temperature drops in the night time but during the day it will naturally clear again.  

NB: The Dome is not suitable or safe for children under 12. Babies 2 years and under stay for free (no cot provided) but please note if they are walking or crawling we do not advise booking this space due to the height above the ground.  

PLEASE NOTE: Although we are based on a farm, there is no dust road and regular cars will have no trouble at all. Parking is 50m from the Dome at the entrance to the farm and there is a downhill walk to the Deck where the Dome is situated, nestled amongst the fynbos and trees.
