We have 2 double rooms with queen-sized beds; 1 with either 2 single beds or a King; and a Family room that has a Queen size Bed as well as a Double sleeper couch - all rooms are en-suite. The family room has a standard-size fridge, dining room table and private garden with braai facilities, as well as an outdoor shower.

We have a choice of two bomas, one next to the Eco pool; as well as mini-braai's if you prefer a more private evening...each room is equipped with a Bar fridge; Microwave; as well as tea and coffee facilities. 

We are situated approximately 7 km from the Sefakho Makgatho offramp on the R573, within walking distance of Spar and Tops. The Roodeplaat Dam, Cullinan and Dinokeng is on our doorstep. The rooms do not have TVs, (speak to one another!) but do have Wi-Fi access; and only the Harley Davidson room is equipped with Aircon - the other rooms are naturally cool, but are also equipped with Fans and Heaters. Extra blankets and hot water bottles ensure a cosy winter stay.

Ample, safe parking is available. We are in close proximity of a selection of local restaurants which provide excellent breakfasts and meals.

Retro Cafe and Retro Motel is the culmination of years of passionate collecting and carefully coordinating every item to find its perfect spot on our property – an eclectic mix of items from mostly the ’50s, with selected items from the ’30s and ’40s, combined with authentic, rustic wooden furniture. We also have an art studio on the premises.

Furthermore, our selection of Harley Davidson’s and semi-restored vintage cars, together with the windmill, large cacti/desert garden and wooden sheds, serves as the ideal backdrop for photoshoots and/or photography students, not to mention the possibilities for beautiful wedding pictures!
