Our traditional Klein Karoo heritage home dates back to the early 1900s, located in a quiet suburb of Oudtshoorn and in close proximity to town. We opened our doors in April 2017 to guests, offering a "home away from home". There is a lovely large garden, with bird life aplenty. There are two cottages that are quite different, but both offer the same amenities, each with its own private entrance, veranda/courtyard, and undercover parking.

Lavender is the largest of the two, offering lovely high ceilings and old-world charm. There is an entrance hall, two  separate bedrooms (twin beds), a lovely lounge (with day bed), a fully equipped spacious kitchen, and a full bathroom (shower over bath), accommodating 5 guests. Our cozy studio cottage, set to the back of the property, has an open plan living and sleeping area, kitchenette and full bathroom (shower over bath), and accommodates two guests with a queen bed.  The enclosed courtyard offers a summer Victorian bath, to cool off in the heat of the karoo.

All rooms are equipped with a tea/coffee station, lovely crisp linen and towels, and access to free WIFI and full DSTV. Over and above the communal braai and fire pit area in the garden, each cottage has its own seated courtyard area, with a weber braai, should you prefer privacy.
